Motorola One Mid spotted on Geekbench with 6GB RAM, launch imminent
Motorola is rumoured to launch its next flagship, the Motorola Edge+ soon. Plenty of details including the leaked shots of the Edge+ have surfaced in the recent reports. Another device that could make an appearance alongside the flagship model is Motorola One Mid. The device has appeared on Geekbench, which has revealed some of its specifications. The One Mid scored 2534 and 6961 in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Motorola One Mid will be powered by a Qualcomm octa-core processor that has a base frequency of 1.80GHz. It may be the Snapdragon 675 chipset. It could have 6GB RAM and run Android 10. According to a previous report, the phone will have a 6.53-inch 2340 x 1080 display but it is not known what design it will have. It is said to sport a notch-less design and come with a pop-up selfie camera. The Motorola One Mid could pack a 4000mAh of battery.
Motorola has already confirmed that it will be launching phones powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC and the mid-range Snapdragon 765 SoC. Hence, the Edge+ could feature the former, while the One Mid may be powered by the latter.
As for the Motorola Edge+, it appears to feature a curved panel much like that of the Vivo Nex 3 and the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. However, it retains the physical volume buttons. The Motorola flagship phone is reportedly codenamed ‘burton' or ‘racer turbo'. The handset is rumoured to feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) display with a punch-hole notch. In the images, the size of the hole-punch is noticeably smaller than the one on the Motorola One Vision. It was also spotted on Geekbench. It scored 4106 in the single-core test and recorded a score of 12823 in the multi-core test.
