Motorola One Power India launch at 12 PM today: How to watch livestream, expected price and more

Motorola will launch its new Moto Power smartphone in India at an event today at 12 PM. The device is a part of Google’s Android One programme, which means that it is slated to receive timely software updates. The company originally announced the Motorola One Power and the Motorola One during IFA 2018, however, only the former model is being launched in India. The device features a 19:9 display aspect ratio with a notch on top and comes equipped with a large 5000mAh battery, which the company says can deliver up to 6 hours of power in 15 minutes of charging. Today’s launch event is being broadcasted via the company’s social media channels but you can watch it directly from the video embedded below. Motorola One Power Specs The Moto One Power is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 which is paired with the Adreno 509 GPU for graphics. It features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ 19:9 “Max Vision” display with a notch. The device’s 5000mAh battery supports TurboPower charging as well and It runs on stock Android Oreo and the company has promised to soon roll out the Android 9.0 Pie update for it. The smartphone was originally announced in 3GB and 4GB RAM models, coupled with 32GB and 64GB internal storage respectively. The smartphone comes equipped with 16MP + 5MP dual-rear cameras with f/2.0 aperture and 1.12μm pixels. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor that supports portrait mode with a f/2.2 aperture. The company previously launched the Motorola P30 in China, which shares the same specifications as the Motorola One Power. However, it runs on  ZUI 4.0 UI instead of stock Android. ZUI was last seen on the company’s now-defunct Zuk series of devices.  Moto One Power Expected Price While unveiling the Motorola One Power, the company said to expect it to be priced around Rs. 14,000 in India. However, seeing the current rupee depreciation, it could be priced a bit higher. In this price range, the Motorola One Power will go up against the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (review), Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 (review), the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro (review), and the Nokia 6.1 Plus (review).
